KIVA Player to Train with USA Girls' Youth National Team
Deja McClendon (Asics KIVA 16 Red) was one of 22 girls selected out of the 1,381 who tried out for a spot on the USA Girls' Youth National Training Team. She will train with the team May 15-18 at Geogia Tech in Atlanta. After the training session, the team will be narrowed down to 12 players who will represent USA Volleyball at the 2008 NORCECA U-18 Continental Championship at Guaynabo, Puerto Rico in July.
