Regarding Liberos
The
Pioneer Region allows for rule modifications for tournaments hosted
in the region. Liberos will be allowed to serve.
The only tournament that will not use this rule is the Pioneer Region
Bid Tournament that awards the bids to the USA Volleyball Junior
National Event. No other rules will change - there will still be
12 substitutions allowed in each set. Information will be sent out
and given at the scorekeeping clinics on how the libero serving
will be tracked on the scoresheets and libero tracking sheets. Remember,
the libero serving is only for tournaments hosted in the Pioneer
Region. If you take your team out of the region this serving
modification may not be used. 2010
